Reading a Botanical Supplement Label

Names, amounts and cautions, with Sonic Solace as the example.

A botanical label should name each plant, ideally with its Latin name and the part used.

Amounts Matter

Two products with the same plants can differ widely in dose, so look for an amount for each one.

Cautions and Allergens

Check the cautions, the other ingredients and any allergens.

When Amounts Are Missing

If a seller page gives no amounts, rely on the Supplement Facts panel on the bottle.
